Town Garden

Swindon, Wiltshire

I feel blessed to live in a town which has a number of parks and a highly active and skilled parks and gardens department which maintains them. One of my favourite haunts is the rose garden within Swindon's Town Garden which I visit frequently, with cameras of course. This first selection of images were mostly taken in early spring, before the roses had got fully underway. I have so many hundreds of images from the Town Garden that I have decided to break them down into lots, this one being the first. Going by the original image names all of these images would have been from my Pentax digital SLR using old film type lenses. I very rarely use the original Pentax lenses, largely because I don't like using auto focus and these old film lenses are much better suited to manual focusing.
