Another old school manual or auto switchable lens. Very difficult to work with unless supported on a tripod, it has a mount for this. It is quite heavy but this is not really the issue. Due to its enormous length stability is the enemy. As I almost entirely shoot hand held this is difficult to hold steady so I can only use it in perfect weather conditions. Remember that the crop factor on here makes it equivalent to a 450mm lens, which means shooting at 1/500th or faster.
