The Zenit E is fundamentally the same camera as the Zenit B with a lightmeter. This in turn is an updated Zenit 3m, the basic design of all of the earlier Zenit range can easily trace it's ancestry back to the original Zenit C which was not exported form Russia to the UK. Operationally therefore, apart from the lightmeter, this is the same as the 3. The only major differences are that this has now adopted the "standard" 42mm lens mount and has an instant return mirror. This particular model unfortunately has a crack visible though the viewfinder but I haven't established where. Performance wise, as to be expected, it is equal to the 3 but with the convenience of the lightmeter, which is not TTL.
