There isn't much published on the King range of cameras even though they were quite a prolific producer. The reason for this I think is, in part, because they used a number of other trading names, and made for "own brand". This really is only an average camera with no special features but it is in excellent condition with a very clear lens. I'm not normally keen on front mounted shutters but this is direct to the lens which makes for very light operation with minimal shake. I get the feeling that this will produce some very good results but we shall wait and see. Interestingly this has the lens/shutter combination that I wanted to see on the Ilford Sportsman.
