This is a basic function manual camera with TTL meter. I picked it up at a car boot sale from a girl who had used it for a media studies college course. Although cosmetically in superb condition the foam light seals had disintegrated to a gooey mess and needed to be replaced. I have to say that for all it only has basic functionality I like this camera a lot. It has a nice feel, comfortable weight and good handling. The Cosina lens (left) has as sharp a focus as most Japanese lenses and the light meter seems pretty close in normal circumstances. It does, however, get easily fooled by difficult lighting. The other lens used here is a Vivitar 135 f2.8 (right). This is a superb lens with bags of light giving a very clear focus, as good as any I have come across. |
